Ia orana and welcome to Te Nunoa!

Te Nunoa is the Tahitian word for that very special sunset when all the sky looks like it’s on fire. It also happens to be my son’s Tahitian name.
The idea for Te Nunoa came about when my children were still quite young. As a travel agent, I saw time and again that people would first visit these islands thinking it was a once in a lifetime trip but sure enough, once they got here, they immediately started plotting their return. Unfortunately, most aren’t prepared to splurge as they did on their honeymoons. They’ve been spoiled and expect a certain level of comfort. Hence Te Nunoa. Our goal is to bridge the gap between luxury & affordability. At Te Nunoa, we’ve tried to create a haven where you’ll find both comfort and an authentic way of life. From the quality mattress to french bed linens and turkish towels, we pay attention to the small details with the hope you’ll return year after year!
